The MT5+ is a new generation product that boasts a double-sided flat key and three active locking mechanisms. One of these is the locking bar mechanism, which relies on the correct combination key being inserted to align the top bar pins correctly.

The new configuration of Mul-t-lock's well-honed telescopic pin technology is another key feature of the MT5+. Additionally, the key has a revolutionary mobile interacting spring, known as the Alpha Spring, which engages a unique pin at the rear of the mechanism, creating another shearline.

All MT5+ products come with a double-sided unique MT5+ key. One set of cuts is for the telescopic pin mechanism, while the other cut, the milled pattern, is for the locking bar. This combination provides enhanced key security and higher manipulation resistance.

To enhance user-friendliness, the MT5+ key features an elegant, ergonomic key head with a special silky texture.

The MT5+ key secure system is supported by a unique key authorization magnetic strip card. This card must be presented to the locksmith to enable the duplication of additional keys. Only when the magnetic key card is presented to the dedicated MT5+ key duplication machine can the key code be configured.

The MT5+ not only significantly upgrades security, but it also supports very large and complex master key systems, incorporating hierarchy and matrix requirements even within the same suite. The milled pattern can be used to create exclusive keyways in the marketplace.

The MT5+ is designed as a high-security deadbolt system for commercial and residential doors. The 90° key rotation throws the bolt 1" toward the frame, interlocking two hardened ball bearings with the strike to increase jimmying resistance.

The materials used in the MT5+ include solid brass rings and cylinder, hardened steel bolt and anti-drilling ring, steel strike, and nickel silver and stainless-steel pins. The system is suitable for two backsets, and there is no need for different parts, making the conversion between standards easy.

All Mul-t-lock items come standard with 2 keys and 1 Mul-lock key code ID card.
