Mul-t-lock MT5+ Knob Grade 2 Lockset-Bright Brass

The MT5+ is a new generation product that features not only a double-sided flat key but also three active locking mechanisms. One of these technologies is the locking bar mechanism, which relies on the correct alignment of the top bar pins and the insertion of the correct combination key. The MT5+ is also based on a new configuration of Mul-t-lock's well-honed telescopic pin technology.

The key's design incorporates a revolutionary mobile interacting spring, the Alpha Spring, which engages a unique pin at the rear of the mechanism, creating another shearline. All MT5+ products have a double-sided unique MT5+ key, with one set of cuts for the telescopic pin mechanism and the other cut, the milled pattern, for the locking bar. This combination provides enhanced key security and higher manipulation resistance.

To maximize user-friendliness, the MT5+ key features an elegant, ergonomic key head with a special silky texture. The MT5+ key secure system is supported by a unique key authorization magnetic strip card, which must be presented to the locksmith to enable additional keys to be supplied. Only when this magnetic key card is presented to the dedicated MT5+ key duplication machine can the key code be configured.

The MT5+ not only significantly upgrades security but also supports very large and complex master key systems, incorporating hierarchy and matrix requirements even within the same suite. The milled pattern can be used to create exclusive keyways in the marketplace.

The MT5+ is compatible with residential and commercial door locksets and features an ANSI Grade 2 locking mechanism, a UL Fire Rated Latch, and a Bump Proof High Security Cylinder. The Mul-t-lock unique, high-precision up to 10 telescopic pin tumbler system is pick and drill resistant for high security needs.

Grade 2 knobs are manufactured by Arrow, Yale, or Taco with the Mul-t-lock MT5+ cylinder installed. All Mul-t-lock items come standard with two keys and one Mul-lock key code identification card.
